Galaxy Watch 6 prices drop on Amazon as Samsung’s new Fit 3 launches tomorrow

Last Updated on

Samsung recently announced that the Galaxy Fit 3, a budget-friendly fitness tracker, will be up for grabs tomorrow. This news has been long-awaited with ongoing Galaxy Fit 3 leaks and even rumours pointing towards an early-2023 release date. Anyway, it’s here now and it’s bringing several new features to the table in comparison with its predecessor, the Galaxy Fit 2, which was launched over three years ago. The most obvious is its 1.6-inch AMOLED screen, which marks a 45% size increase over the Fit 2. It also offers 13 days of battery life and a ton of ways to keep track of your fitness data. In terms of its build, you can pick it up in silver, gray, or pink gold, and it’s a simple setup, with a singular button on its right side. And with a quick-release mechanism for the band, it’s easy to swap out different wristbands.

The Galaxy Fit 3 is not just about fitness, as it offers a range of more general features for your health such as advanced sleep tracking, with snore detection. It offers over 100 watch faces and you can even use your own photos as the display background. Additionally, it’s got you covered with emergency SOS and fall detection capabilities, features you’ll find in other high-end smartwatches, such as the Apple Watch SE. While this affordable fitness tracker offers more than 100 types of workouts and features like Calendar and Weather, it doesn’t have GPS, wireless charging, or Wear OS. As a fitness tracker, the Fit 3 is not as powerful as the Galaxy Watch 6. If you’re looking to invest in a smartwatch for your fitness journey and your budget is higher, you may want to check out the Galaxy Watch 6, and we’ve found some that are on sale.

As promised, here are three models of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 which are on sale. There’s a 17% discount on the 47mm edition, a limited-time 22% discount on the 44mm edition, and a 25% discount on the 40mm Watch 6. Below, you can find key features of Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 6 to see if it suits your needs.

What does Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 6 have to offer?

  • Fitness Tracking: Keep your fitness goals on track with Galaxy Watch 6; Monitor duration, distance, calories burned, and track over 90 different exercises.
  • Personalized Heart Rate Zones: Customize your workout intensity with personalized heart rate zones tailored to your health data, helping you achieve your fitness goals more effectively.
  • Advanced Sleep Coaching: Improve your sleep habits with Advanced Sleep Coaching, which helps you plan bedtime, detect snoring, and track your sleep stages including awake, light, deep, and REM.
  • Continuous Heart Monitoring: Galaxy Watch 6 continuously monitors your heart rate and alerts you to irregular rhythms that could indicate heart-related abnormalities.
  • Comprehensive Body Analysis: Utilize the advanced BIA sensor to gain insights into body fat, skeletal muscle, body water, BMI, and more, providing a holistic view of your body’s health.
  • Seamless Connectivity: Stay connected on the go with seamless syncing to other Galaxy devices, enabling music playback, camera control, calls, texts, and more from your wrist.
  • Largest Display Yet: Enjoy a larger display for enhanced visibility and improved app navigation, protected by durable crystal glass to withstand bumps and scratches.
  • Customizable Style: Choose from a wide variety of bands and easily swap them with a simple click, while accentuating your look with new and enhanced watch faces to match any mood or style.

Is it worth picking up the Samsung Fit 3?

While we don’t know the cost of the Samsung Fit 3, we can expect that it will retail for around $120. Despite the fact that the Galaxy Watch 6 models that we’ve found for you are offering good value for money at their discounted prices, the Fit 3 will probably be a lot cheaper. This is a reflection of the fact that the Watch 6 is essentially the more advanced smartwatch, offering a proper interface and Wear OS. If you’re interested in more options in this realm, check out this comparison of the Pixel Watch 2 vs Galaxy Watch 6. The Fit 3 does have its perks, as we’ve already mentioned, with its bigger screen, long battery life, basic smartwatch functionality, and useful fitness and health monitoring features. All in all, we think it really comes down to your budget and preferences for the kind of smartwatch experience you’re more interested in.
